The main advantages of POLYURETHANE
This material becomes a polymer by mixing synthetic materials. Better resistance against abrasion, cut scratch and flex in cold conditions
Polyurethane is very soft (supple) and provides a great freedom of movement as well as a reinforced maintain of the ankle of the foot.
Polyurethane provides a reduction in the weight of the boot and gives lightness and softness when using it compared to rubber or PVC. Its thermo regulating properties allows the feet to stay warm even at temperatures of -40° in the winter, and reduces perspiration in summer.
Polyurethane resists much better than Rubber to day to day use . In professional environment it resists to fat or petrol. It can be cleaned easily and has a much longer lifecycle than its 2 rival materials.
Polyurethane is particularly adapted in industry, food, agriculture and also for leisure’s like fishing, hunting, sailing and winter activities like snow scooter, walking in the snow, and after skiing.
